Cornwall Ontario – Numerous CFN viewers have contacted us and submitted photos regarding an incident that occurred in Monkland Friday.
The OPP have not issued a release or tweeted about the incident yet on a property on the Roxborough Gardens road in Monkland.
One viewer alleged that the shooting involved a bipolar adult child gaining access to a family shotgun with at least one person reported dead or to hospital.
“I just talked to one of the neighbors and they said the last couple of days they adult son has been shooting off a shotgun into the air. Scary to have a shotgun accessible to someone with bipolar disorder “

The OPP have confirmed that one person was taken into custody with multiple charges including weapons related.
No fatalities occurred and more information should be coming out Monday.
