BREAK IN
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) – On July 03, 2018 at approximately 5:23pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on Dalkeith Road, North Glengarry Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime between June 29, 2018 – July 3, 2018 culprit(s) entered a residence and removed two flat screen televisions and various other items. An investigation continues.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(SD&G) – On July 03, 2018 Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement in SD&G and intercepted the following vehicle for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permits seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– July 3, 2018 – 8:23pm (South Dundas); vehicle stopped traveling 166km/h (100km/h zone)(Highway 401). Male driver (24) from Oakville, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
CAUSING A DISTURBANCE
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) – On July 4, 2018 at approximately 12:37am Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of disturbance on County Road 2, South Dundas Township. Investigation revealed that an adult male was out of control, intoxicated and yelling at others at the location.
Gilles KOWCHARLIE (25), South Dundas Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Causing a Disturbance
– Being intoxicated in a common area (Liquor Licence Act)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg court on August 7, 2018.
DRUGS SEIZED AT TRAFFIC STOP
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On July 05, 2018 at approximately 4:56am, a SD&G Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle during a traffic stop on County Road 2, South Dundas Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marijuana, methamphetamine, hydromorphine.
Jordan TURNER (26) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on August 2, 2018
Kyle ADAMS (28) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance (3 counts)
– Driving a motor vehicle with open container of liquor (LLA)- Driving under Suspension (HTA)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on August 16, 2018.
WANTED MALE ARRESTED
(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – On July 5, 2018 at approximately 3:16pm members of the Community Street Crime Unit conducted an investigation and located a wanted male by the SD&G OPP in North Dundas, Ontario. Investigation also indicated that the male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
Christopher CINNAMON (46) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Probation
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on August 2, 2018.
