(LEEDS, ON.) – On August 2, 2018 a joint forces Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant was conducted involving members of the Brockville Police Emergency Response Team (ERT), Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), and the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) at three residences in the City of Brockville. Drug paraphernalia, cash and various types of drugs were seized.
Included in the drug seizure were cocaine, methamphetamine, cannabis marihuana, cannabis resin, and psilocybin with a street value of $6000.
As a result 63 year old Gary ALLINGHAM, 47 year old Tracy STONE, and 41 year old James GILCHRIST all of Brockville were arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act and the Criminal Code of Canada.
ALLINGHAM faces two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and is scheduled to answer to his charges on September 14, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville.
STONE and GILCHRIST face five counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Breach of Probation charges. They remain in custody and are scheduled for a bail hearing on August 3, 2018.
