(PRESCOTT, ON) On February 2, 2019, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers from the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), stopped a motor vehicle travelling west, on Highway 2, in Augusta Township. Further investigation revealed that the female driver had an outstanding warrant for her arrest and that a male passenger had breached his Recognizance .
The driver, Brittney MCILVENNA, age 20 or Augusta Township, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine x 2
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
– Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
– Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
– Fail to attend court
Passenger, Timothy MCGUIRE, age 24, of Augusta Township, was arrested and charged with:
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine x 2
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
– Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
– Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
– Fail to comply with Recognizance x 3
Passenger, Zachary ALLEN, age 25, of Ottawa , was arrested and charged with:
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine x 2
– Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
– Occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm
– Unauthorized possession of a firearm
– Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
Allen was released on a Promise to Appear at the Brockville Court of Justice on March 9, 2019 and the remaining 2 accused were held for a Bail Court Hearing.
