CHARGES LAID RELATING TO THEFT AT BUSINESS
(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – On February 5, 2019, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a theft at a business on King Street in North Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that an employee of the store removed various items on multiple occasions.
Karey NURSE (50) from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Theft over $5000
She was released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on April 2, 2019 in Morrisburg.
ASSAULT WITH WEAPON
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) – On February 6, 2019 at approximately 7:40 pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a disturbance on Main Street in North Glengarry Township.
Investigation indicated that an altercation occurred between two adult males. The accused male threatened to strike the victim with a weapon and threatened to damage his property. The accused was also breaching previous release conditions by having the weapon.
Brian JENSEN (31) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault with a weapon
– Uttering threats
– Utter threats to damage property
– Unlawfully in a dwelling house
– Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
– Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition – for dangerous purpose
– Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking
– Fail to comply with conditions of a prohibition order
He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall February 7th 2019
ASSAULT- DOMESTIC
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On February 6, 2019 at approximately 8:25pm Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of domestic situation in South Stormont Township. Investigation revealed that an adult male had assaulted his ex-wife on a previous occasion.
A 27-year-old male of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
– Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall court on March 5, 2019
