MAY 31, 2021 – at approximately 8:00 a.m., members of the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Prescott-Russell Paramedic Service, and the Hawkesbury Fire Department responded to a fatal incident at the parking lot on Spence Avenue in the Town of Hawkesbury.
A 24-year-old person was transported by Ornge Ambulance Service (ORNGE) to a Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The second employee was pronounced deceased at scene.
The deceased has been identified as Charles SPROULE, age 71 of Champlain Township.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident.
