L I N K Two big play-off stiffs together finally. Now SJ can have Heatley and Thornton rack up those regular season points only to disappear in the play-offs.
The Sens finally dumped Dany Heatley and his monster contract to the SJ Sharks. Ottawa includes a 5th round pick and gets back Milan Michalek and disappointing, but interesting Jonathan Cheechoo.
I kinda like the trade for the Sens. I think Cheechoo has the potential to rebound big time. Either way it resolves a major issue for the team. Now whether they keep Jason Spezza or not needs to be resolved.
