Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service are currently seeking the public’s assistance for anyone that would have witnessed the collision at Adolphus Street and First Street East involving a motor vehicle and an pedestrian.

THEFT & BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- Lise Dufresne, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on July 10th, 2012. She was bound by an Undertaking with the condition to keep the peace and be in good behaviour. It is alleged that on July 7th, 2012 on two separate occasions she attended a Ninth Street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with 2 counts of Theft under $5000.00 and 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking. She was held in custody until court August 7th, 2012.
DOMESTIC BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 10th, 2012. He was bound by a Recognizance with the condition not to associate or communicate directly or indirectly with his 18-year-old ex-girlfriend, not to attend within 50 meters of her place of residence and nor to attend a certain address. It is alleged that on July 7th, 2012 he attended the said residence. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it may identify the victim.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- Stephen McDonald, 47 of Cornwall was arrested on July 10th, 2012. It is alleged that on June 27th, 2012 he got into an altercation with a 47-year-old female co-worker when he assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Assault and released to appear in court on August 14th, 2012.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT AND BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- a 45-year-old man was arrested on July 10th, 2012. He was bound by two Probation Orders with the conditions of keep the peace & be of good behaviour and not to associate, contact or hold any communication directly or indirectly with his 28-year-old girlfriend without written revocable consent which has not been given nor on file. It is alleged that on July 10th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 28-year-old girlfriend when he assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Assault and 3 counts of Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name was not released as it may identify the victim.

Cornwall, ON- Yvonne McMillan, 47 of Cornwall was arrested on July 10th, 2012. She was bound by a Recognizance with the condition to abstain from the use of and/or possession of alcoholic beverages and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on July 10th, 2012 she was found under the influence of alcohol. She was charged with 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.
MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- Chad Niles, 22 of Cornwall was arrested on July 11th, 2012. It is alleged that in the early hours of July 11th, 2012 he caused damage to a motor vehicle by running on top of it. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Mischief under $5000.00 and released a appear in court on August 14th, 2012.
BREACHES
Cornwall, ON- A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on July 9th, 2012. The youth was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions toobey all reasonable rules of residence and all parental direction and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that between June 29th, 2012 and July 1st, 2012 the youth admitted to have done drugs. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth was charged with 2 counts of Fail to comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Cornwall, ON- Laura Primeau, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on July 9th, 2012. She was bound by a Recognizance with the conditions to report to the Cornwall Community Police Service in person every Monday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. It is alleged that on May 7th, June 11thand July 2nd, 2012 she failed to attended. She was charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance and held in custody until court the following day.

Cornwall, ON- A 32-year-old Cornwall female was arrested on July 9th, 2012. She was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on July 9th, 2012 she got into an altercation with her 31-year-old ex-common-law husband when she caused damaged to property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Domestic Mischief under $5000.00 and Breach of Probation Order. She was released to appear in court on July 31st, 2012. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim.
