Cornwall Ontario – The newest member of the River Kings is the latest player from Cornwall to be honoured by the LNAH.
Julien Corriveau, acquired last week in a three-way transaction, has been named the league’s top offensive rookie for the month of November.
In eight games last month, the shifty forward from Beauharnois, QC had 4 goals and 7 assists.
Last Saturday, in his River Kings home debut, Corriveau had two helpers in Cornwall’s 5-2 victory over the Laval Braves.
Michel Ouellet of the Thetford-Mines Isothermic is the offensive player of the month for November. Trois-Rivières Vikings netminder Marco Cousineau was named the top defensive player as well as rookie of the month.
The River Kings are back in action on Friday night in Thetford-Mines. Cornwall hosts Sorel-Tracy on Saturday night at the Civic Complex. Fans who bring non-perishable items to the box office will receive $4 off admission (regular price is $14) to Saturday’s contest.
