Up is former councilor Mark A MacDonald.

1. Who are you?   My name is Mark A. MacDonald.   I am a retired Fire Inspector, I’m a community activist and I fight for what I believe in.

2. Why are you running for office?   Since I’ve been 8 years old I’ve always had a passion for politics and if you would like to read more about that story you can visit my website at www.markamacdonald.com
3. What are the 3 best things about our community? — LOCATION — LOCATION — LOCATION.
4.What are your 3 priorities to improve Cornwall?
        #1 — Get the “New Council” working as a team
       #2 — A complete overhaul of all Committees to root out spending overlap.
       #3 — Protect the green space on our waterfront
5.  Who was your hero as a child?  — My high school teacher Mr. Murphy — he grabbed me by the throat and told me to smarten up — I told my dad and he said “I deserved it”.
6. If you could brand the Cornwall of the future in one word what would that word be?      New

  1. Go for it Mark. I have been mentioning your name in many of my posts. You are a very good man. You reminded me of my past and that of many others when we would tell our parents what the teacher did to us and we would experience even more when we got home. Today’s generation is spoiled beyond belief and haven’t seen or experienced anything. No wonder everthing is gone to hell in a handbasket. Mark all the best to you and hoping and praying that you make it on council. You are a mighty good man to have around. I am rooting from Ottawa. Take care and all the best.
