IMPAIRED BY DRUG
(South Dundas) – On November 12, 2016 at approximately 10:58pm, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on County Road 31, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that the adult male driver was under the influence of a drug.
Cody FLUKE (18) of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Drive a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by a Drug
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on December 6, 2016.
BREAK-IN
(South Stormont) – Between (November 9-12, 2016) a garage located at a property on Manning Road, South Glengarry Township was entered. Inside, an orange Husqvarna chainsaw, a red Lincoln 175 welder, a yellow Dewalt chop saw, batteries and chargers were stolen.
An investigation continues.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(Glengarry) – Over the past weekend, SD&G and HSD OPP officers conducting speed measuring enforcement in Glengarry County intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. In all stops, the vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– November 11, 2016 – 7:40am (County Road 34-South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 147km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver (24) from South Stormont Township charged accordingly.
– November 11, 2016 – 3:56pm (Highway 401-South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 151km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (71) from Don Mills, Ontario charged accordingly.
– November 13, 2016 – 12:15am (Highway 401-South Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 154km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (29) from Brossard, Quebec charged accordingly.
