OPP INVESTIGATING FATAL CRASH
(South Dundas, ON) – On March 21, 2017 at approximately 1:55pm members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two (2) vehicle crash on County Road 7 and Boucks Hill Road, South Dundas Township, ON.
A passenger vehicle and a tractor trailer collided where one (1) person was transported to hospital and has since died. The second driver was uninjured. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
Road Closures are in effect at County Road 7/ County Road 31 and County Road 7/Marcellus Road, as well as Garlough Road and Boucks Hill Road. Detours are in place.
OPP Technical Traffic investigators and an OPP Reconstructionist are assisting in the investigation.
