(LEEDS, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation into a stunt driver who failed to stop for police.
On the 18th of April 2017 at about 11:00 P.M. Ontario Provincial Police officers near Mallorytown attempted to stop a speeding Ford Mustang travelling eastbound on Highway 401. Speeds were in excess of 82 kilometres over the speed limit. After an attempt to stop the vehicle failed, several officers successfully stopped it near Brockville.
As a result of the investigation, a 21 year old North York, Ontario man found his vehicle towed, and impounded for 7 days.
He is scheduled to appear at Brockville Provincial Offences Court on 3 May 2017 to answer to a stunt driving charge and for failing to stop for Police.
