MISCHIEF UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – Shawn Wadden, 21, of Cornwall was arrested on March 13th, 2020 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on March 13th, the man damaged a vehicle mirror, belonging to someone he did not know, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 21st, 2020.

Cornwall, ON – A 52-year-old woman from Orleans, ON was arrested on March 13th, 2020 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged the woman damaged her boyfriend’s car and police were contacted to investigate. Cornwall, ON – Nancy Leach, 55, of Cornwall was arrested on March 13th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on March 12th, 2020 for an impaired offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, INVITIATION TO SEXUAL TOUCHING
Cornwall, ON – Seth St. Jacques, 18, of Cornwall was arrested on March 13th, 2020 and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching. It is alleged in February, the man sexually assaulted a 13-year-old youth and police were contacted to investigate. On March 13th, 2020, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 21st, 2020.
ASSAULT, ASSAULT POLICE
Cornwall, ON – Crystal Square, 37, of Cornwall was arrested on March 13th, 2020 and charged with assault and assault police. It is alleged while at a Montreal Road business, the woman assaulted a youth. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, at which time a brief struggle ensued and the woman assaulted a police officer. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 21st, 2020.

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 13th, 2020 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged during an argument with his girlfriend, the man damaged a wall in her residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 31st, 2020. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Alexis Scrivener, 21, of Cornwall was arrested on March 13th, 2020 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an altercation with another woman, she assaulted the woman and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 21st, 2020.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Christopher Kootoo-Dupuis, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on March 14th, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on March 14th, the man attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for items as he left the store. He was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 21st, 2020.
DOMESTIC MISCHIEF, THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 15th, 2020 and charged with domestic mischief and two counts of uttering threats. It is alleged during an argument with his girlfriend, the man damaged various household items. It is further alleged the man threated to harm and kill his sister. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 15th, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victims in the matter.
ASSAULT, THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 12-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 15th, 2020 and charged with assault and threats. It is alleged on February 29th, the youth assaulted a woman known to her and made threats to kill her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 15th, 2020, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

THEFT UNDER $5000, DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, FLIGHT FROM POLICE
Cornwall, ON – Michael Beauvais, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on March 16th, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000, flight from police, and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged on March 13th, the man attended a local pawn shop and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. It is further alleged on March 16th, the man was operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner in the area of McConnell Avenue and Second Street and failed to stop for police. An investigation ensued and the man was taken into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 23rd, 2020.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on March 16th, 2020 and charged with five counts of breach of probation for contacting her boyfriend, being within 20 metres of him, and failing to keep the peace. She was also charged with breach of recognizance for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged while investigating an unwanted person complaint on March 16th, the woman was located at her boyfriend’s residence, despite her conditions.
