SD&G OPP CHARGE SOUTH STORMONT MAN WITH CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OFFENCES
(SOUTH STORMONT, ON) – Members of the SD&G Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit assisted by the OPP Digital Forensic Unit , Child Sexual Exploitation Unit of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC), The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Cornwall Police Service conducted a child pornography investigation.
On May 12, 2020 SD&G Crime Unit members arrested and charged Kevin DOCKERY, age 51 years, of South Stormont Ontario under the Criminal Code (CC) with;
– Access any Child Pornography – sec. 163.1(4.1)
– Did unlawfully Make Available Child Pornography – computerized graphic files – sec, 163.1(3) – two counts
– Did have in his Possession Child Pornography – computerized Graphic files – sec. CC 163.1(4)
– Did have in his Possession Child Pornography – computerized Graphic files – sec. 163.1(4)
– Did import or distribute child pornography – computerized graphic files. – sec. 163.1(3)
The accused was held for a bail hearing on May 13, 2020 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.

Are you shocked? Career criminal and allegedly bad short order cook Kevin Dockery was busted by SD&G OPP for Kiddie Porn. Mr. Dockery gained fame locally for leading two hate groups (the first was taken down for anti semitic comments) and two boycott groups against this scribbler and this newspaper.
The local police refused to lay charges against him at the time, this including the Cornwall Police, the OPP at the time, and even the RCMP when he violated copyright not once, but twice of the same video, having it loaded to you tube and facebook.
He is not the first member of that group to end up on the police blotter.
Here is some of the coverage which also included an actual newspaper burning BBQ attended by former Deputy Mayor of South Stormont, Tammy Hart. LINK One might think that an actual newspaper burning hate crime attended by a sitting high level elected official would be “news”, but none of the other area media reported this.
Mr. Dockery was also championed by former Liberal MPP Jim Brownell, and failed mayoralty candidate and expert grocery cart wiper, David Murphy.

Even more oddly, Mr. Dockery was supported by the Ontario Press Council while waging his war via its President Don McCurdy. LINK

You seem to be on target, referring to this product as more of a personal blog. From what you described to me, that’s exactly what it is.
Sounds like the person who operates this has very little or no journalistic training or understanding of the community service aspect of a news organization. Also sounds like his understanding of ethical guidelines or acceptable journalistic practices is weak at best. His product is not a member of the Ontario Press Council and is therefore not subject to our guidelines, considerations or rulings.
The most effective way to deal with him is to avoid reading what he posts on line because he uses the visits to sell advertising. A second approach would be to start a boycott of any advertisers he has attracted and make sure any advertisers know that there is a boycott and, from what you have shared with me, it should grow. Also take your concerns to other media serving the community so that the word spreads. But be prepared to feel his counter attack.
If it gets personal and his rants use untrue statements and unfounded facts, make sure you get a lawyer to send him a letter threatening him with legal libel action.
You might ask others who feel unjustly targeted to share the costs of hiring a lawyer.

Dockery had also used the township logo in his hate group and of course was part of the using the Poppy after his cohort, Robert “Bob” Noble was booted from facebook for posting hate. LINK
Former MPP Brownell used a photo of himself in his official uniform as the honorary poobah of the Glens. An odd designation, especially considering the allegations of his special “Brownell” Boys Nights at Queen’s Park. LINK
The abuse of Poppy earned this quote from the Legion. Brownell was never asked to resign, because, you know.. it’s Cornwall & SD&G. LINK
“It is a first. I have never seen such a blatant defacement of our sacred symbol and believe that if other Canadians could see it, they’d be as outraged as I am,” says Bill Maxwell, who is secretary of the Legion’s Poppy and Remembrance Committee.
The group even had local Liberal Prez Jamie Labonte and his organizing wife as part of the hate. Mr. Labonte is now a regular on the Randy Sauve hate page. Mr. Sauve is awaiting his court appearance for defamation which he claims that community has donated over $10,000 in support for.
You can’t make up this stuff. It’s that strange in these part.
